Ar Rimal is one of east Riyadh’s newer districts, and residential plots are still its most sought-after property — building is ongoing and families take the keys to new villas and duplexes every month. A new house looks clean from the doorway, but before the furniture goes in it needs a particular kind of clean: fine dust on floors and in door and window tracks, light finishing marks on tiles, and kitchen and bathroom cupboards that have never been wiped inside.
