Al-Kauther Home Services sends hourly maids to Al Awali in west Riyadh — to villas, apartments and homes inside residential compounds — for visits of 4 to 8 hours in the morning or evening, with a 4-hour visit by one maid from SAR 135. To book, call or WhatsApp 0561940026, and tell us if you live in a compound so we can arrange gate access ahead of time.
Al Awali is known for its many villas and for the rental compounds along Najm Ad Din Al Ayyubi Street and At Tawhid Street, alongside apartment buildings and showrooms on the main roads. That mix means very different requests: a villa family getting the majlis ready for guests, a compound household that wants the same weekly visit to keep the house in order, or a working couple in a flat who prefer an evening slot after office hours.

Where is Al Awali and what are the homes like?
Al Awali lies in west Riyadh and falls under the Namar sub-municipality; property portals file some of its listings under Dhahrat Namar and Tuwaiq, which places it on the south-western side of the west. Its best-known street is Najm Ad Din Al Ayyubi (with its service road), along with At Tawhid Street; inner streets that come up often in addresses include Saeed bin Siddiq, Sabya, Junadah bin Malik and As Sakha.
What sets Al Awali apart from many western districts is the number of rental compounds next to standalone villas. A compound usually has similar villas or duplexes of moderate size behind a guarded gate. Standalone villas tend to be larger, with separate men’s and women’s majlis, several living rooms and sometimes an annex. Flats sit in residential blocks — some newer with lifts, some older with stairs only.
Compound home
4 hours a week
Usually enough for a compound duplex: living areas, kitchen, bathrooms and bedroom tidying.
Standalone villa
6 or 8 hours
For two floors and the majlis rooms — or two maids together to finish in half the time.
Apartment
4 hours
A full clean including kitchen and bathrooms; add an hour for laundry and ironing.
Before an event
6 hours or two maids
Majlis and serving ware prepared, then a visit afterwards to put everything back.
How much is an hourly maid in Al Awali?
An hourly maid in Al Awali starts from SAR 135 for a 4-hour visit with one maid — the same Riyadh rate we charge in every district, whether your home is inside a compound or on a main road. What changes the total is the number of hours, the number of maids and the package, and sometimes an evening slot or a holiday; all of that is confirmed when you book, before you commit.
Starting prices from Al-Kauther Home Services for Al Awali and all other Riyadh districts; the final price depends on hours, number of maids, home size and timing.
The package makes a clear difference: four separate 4-hour visits add up to SAR 540 at the starting rate, while the monthly package for the same four visits starts from SAR 460. That is why most compound households choose it — their needs are steady and come round every week.
Hourly maid service inside Al Awali compounds
Gate access is the one thing that delays a visit if it is not sorted out in advance. Guards usually ask for the resident’s name and villa number, and some compounds want management notified or the visitor registered in their system. So when you book we ask for three things: the compound name, the villa or unit number, and the name of the person booking as security has it on file.
The upside of compounds is that units share similar layouts. After the first visit the maid knows where everything is, so later visits run faster and more thoroughly. That is why we suggest compound residents ask for the same maid on a weekly package whenever she is available.
Tip: Let the compound guard know the day before that Al-Kauther Home Services is coming and at what time, and WhatsApp us your villa number and the right gate pin on 0561940026 — some compounds have more than one entrance.
What does an hourly maid do in Al Awali villas and flats?
The visit is for cleaning and tidying inside the home, down to the detail. In villas whose living rooms are dressed with paintings, picture ledges and ornaments, that detail takes longer than people expect: dusting frames, shelves and accessories needs a calm, careful hand, not a quick swipe. Riyadh dust settles back fast, so keeping on top of it weekly is far easier than leaving it for a month.

- ✓Living rooms, majlis and bedrooms cleaned; rugs and carpets vacuumed.
- ✓Shelves, paintings, ornaments, frames and furniture surfaces dusted.
- ✓Kitchen: worktops, cabinet fronts, sink and washing-up.
- ✓Bathrooms, basins and mirrors cleaned; taps polished.
- ✓Laundry washed, hung, ironed and put away.
- ✓Interior glass and windows, plus metal and slatted blinds.
- ✓Hospitality set-up before guests, and the clean-up afterwards.
- ✓Move-in and move-out cleaning — a common request when families switch compound units.
Horizontal aluminium blinds, common in flats and home offices, are wiped slat by slat with a lightly damp cloth and dried — a small job that makes a big difference to how bright the room feels.

What the visit does not include
An hourly maid does not cook full meals; in the kitchen she helps with cleaning and getting dishes ready. Little ones and elderly relatives are never left in her sole charge; their care stays with you. Risky work such as climbing tall ladders or cleaning outside façades is excluded, as are heavy furniture moving and garden work. We ask that a lady of the family is in the house while the maid is working.
Morning or evening — and when does the clock start?
We run two shifts in Al Awali: mornings for families who want the house done before the children are back from school, and evenings for working households where nobody is home earlier in the day. Time is counted from the moment the maid reaches your door, not from when she leaves our base, and we handle her transport both ways. Friday and holiday visits, and any evening surcharge, are confirmed at booking.

Book now WhatsApp 0561940026Nationalities and how our maids are chosen
Our maids come from African and Asian nationalities depending on availability at booking — Kenyan and Ugandan, for example — and you are welcome to ask for a preferred nationality, which we confirm when you book. Every maid is legally employed with a valid residence permit (iqama), trained in home cleaning and dressed in a modest uniform. If a maid is not the right fit for any reason, tell us and we will arrange the next visit accordingly.
Why book a legally employed maid?
Hiring a worker who is in breach of residency rules or has absconded from her sponsor puts the household itself at risk: the General Directorate of Passports has announced fines of up to SAR 100,000 and up to 6 months in prison for employing or sheltering a violator, multiplied by the number of workers. Separately, an employer who lets his own domestic worker work for other households can be fined up to SAR 20,000 under the Domestic Workers Regulation. Booking through a company means the iqama, medical checks and transport are the company’s responsibility, not yours.
Tips before the maid arrives in Al Awali
- Write a short priority list — four hours go quickly in a big villa.
- Put away valuables and important papers before the visit.
- If your flat is in an older building without a lift, mention the floor when you book.
- Show the maid any rooms you would rather she skipped, and where your own products are kept.
- For high shelves, have a short, stable step stool ready — our maids do not climb tall ladders.
