Al-Kauther Home Services sends hourly maids to Ad Duraihimiyah in west Riyadh, with visits of 4 hours or more from SAR 135, morning or evening. It is a practical way to clean a flat before you move in or after you move out, as well as for regular weekly cleaning. Phone or WhatsApp 0561940026 to book.
Ad Duraihimiyah has plenty of flats for rent and floors for sale, with offices along some of its streets. Residents usually ask us about two things: cleaning a new flat before the furniture arrives, and a maid who comes at a time that fits the family’s working hours. This page answers both in detail.
In short
- 4-hour visit: from SAR 135; usually enough for a two- or three-bedroom flat.
- Move-in clean: 5–6 hours for an empty flat, from SAR 185.
- Two maids: 4 hours from SAR 290 for a whole floor or large flat.
- Unnamed street: send a location pin; some streets in the district have no name.
- Monthly plan: one 4-hour visit a week, from SAR 460 a month.
- Booking: call or WhatsApp 0561940026.
Hourly maids for flats and floors in Ad Duraihimiyah
Ad Duraihimiyah is a west Riyadh district under the Al Uraija sub-municipality. Streets that come up in local addresses include Sayda Street, Al Aqtar Street, Al Aflaj Street, Bakr Ibn Muhammad Street and Al Abbas Ibn Ghalib Street. Property listings show flats for rent, floors for sale and offices for rent, so it is a residential district with commercial frontages mixed in.
Our service is for homes: flats, floors and houses. We do not send hourly maids to offices or shops. If your flat is in a building with offices on the ground floor, say so when you book so the driver knows where to stop and which entrance is residential.
Cleaning a flat before you move in or hand it back
An empty flat is easier to clean than a lived-in one, because the maid can reach every corner without moving furniture. But it needs different work: dust built up inside cupboards, sticker residue on windows, bathrooms that have not been used for a while, and a kitchen that needs cleaning inside before your pots go in.
- ✓Wiping kitchen and bedroom cupboards and drawers inside and out.
- ✓A full bathroom clean: basins, toilets, tiles, mirrors and taps.
- ✓Windows, frames and tracks from inside, plus any blinds or shutters already fitted.
- ✓Sweeping and mopping floors, and wiping door sills and light switches.
- ✓Kitchen: worktops, tiles, sink and appliance fronts if fitted.

If the flat has just had painting or light maintenance, fine dust needs two passes: once at the start of the visit and again near the end, after it has settled. Removing cement splashes or heavy paint from tiles is a job for specialist cleaning crews, not an hourly visit.
Tip: Book the move-in clean a day or two before the removal van, not on the same day. The maid then works in an empty space, and the dust does not come back in with the movers.
Hourly maid prices in Ad Duraihimiyah
A maid by the hour in Ad Duraihimiyah starts from SAR 135 for a 4-hour visit and from SAR 200 for 6 hours, the same rates Al-Kauther uses in every Riyadh district.
These are starting prices published by Al-Kauther Home Services for Ad Duraihimiyah and all Riyadh districts; the final price depends on hours, number of maids, flat size and shift.
Note: Evening visits and visits on Fridays or public holidays have their price and availability confirmed at booking. Send your flat details and ask for the final price on WhatsApp.
Street with no name? How the maid finds you
Some addresses in Ad Duraihimiyah are on unnamed streets, which is common in parts of west Riyadh. A name alone will not do; the map pin is what counts. So the maid gets to you without a search:
- Share your “current location” from inside the flat or at the building door via WhatsApp 0561940026.
- Mention a landmark visible from the street: a mosque, a shop, or the colour of the building.
- Give your flat and floor number and say whether there is a lift.
- If the flat is new to you too, meet the maid at the door on the first visit.
The visit clock only starts when the maid arrives, so time spent finding the address is not taken from your hours. It does delay the start of work, though, and an accurate pin avoids that.
Majlis and hosting in Ad Duraihimiyah homes
Not every home here is a small flat; there are floors and houses with women’s and men’s majlis rooms used for family visits. These rooms tend to have lots of small side tables and glass or brass surfaces that pick up cup rings and fingerprints after every gathering.

On a majlis set-up visit the maid pulls out each nesting table and wipes every layer, polishes the glass tops, dries the metal legs with a soft cloth, then vacuums and arranges the sofas and cushions. After the guests leave she gathers and washes the cups and trays and puts the majlis back in order.

One visit or a monthly plan?
If you are moving into a flat in Ad Duraihimiyah, start with a move-in clean and decide after a couple of weeks what your home really needs. A small flat may be fine with a visit every two weeks, while a family with children gets more from the 4 visits × 4 hours plan, from SAR 460.
If you need more, 8 visits start from SAR 875 for two a week, and 12 visits from SAR 1,320 for three a week. All are hourly visits with no live-in arrangement, and you can ask for the same maid each time when she is available.
Morning or evening?
Mornings are good for cleaning an empty flat, as the building is quieter and the light is better; evenings suit families who work during the day and want to be at home during the visit. During Ramadan shift times change and are confirmed at booking.
Legally employed maids protect you and your landlord
Al-Kauther maids are legally employed with valid residency permits, trained and dressed in a modest uniform, and the company is responsible for their transport and conduct. We offer maids of African and Asian nationalities, such as Kenyan and Ugandan, depending on availability at booking; you can request a particular nationality and we will confirm.
Note of caution: Using a maid who is in breach of residency rules or has absconded exposes whoever employs or shelters her to fines of up to SAR 100,000 and up to 6 months in prison under Saudi passport regulations, and the Domestic Workers Regulation bars employers from hiring their maid out to others, with fines of up to SAR 20,000. Renting rather than owning your home makes no difference to the penalty.
